Nominee #1

Barbara Adams
For all of her multitude of volunteer preservation work on the battlefield--cannons, plaques, etc., and for continuing to assist with her late husband's seminar at GNMP.
Nominee #2
Denise Warthen
Denise is the events coordinator for the Gettysburg Foundation. Among the many member events she organizes and plans is the Remembrance Illumination. This popular event commemorates the lives lost during the 3 day Battle of Gettysburg with a candle on each of the approximately 3500 Civil War graves in the Soldiers National Cemetery. She has some help from a core group of volunteers, but the hours she puts into this event are obvious to all who see the sight.
Nominee #3
Nominee #4
Sue Boardman
Sue Boardman, formerly a nurse, has worked since 2000 as a Licensed Battlefield Guide, and twice has won a Superintendent's Award for Excellence in Guiding. Many people know her as the "Cyclorama Lady" for devotion to and promotion of the restoration of Philippoteaux's magnificent painting. Co-author of The Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama: A History and Guide (2008), she unstintingly shares her passion for this visual rendition of "Pickett's Charge" through the many programs she leads, most especially the "Evening with the Painting" in which the visitor receives, literally, a "behind-the-scenes" history and tour of the restoration.
